The Rudyard Area School District Board of Education located in Rudyard, Michigan, is in search of a new District Superintendent for the 2022-2023 school year.

The Rudyard Area School District is a rural District located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The District includes the communities of Rudyard, Trout Lake, Dafter, Kinross, and Kincheloe. The District is composed of one building with an Elementary (PreK-6) School and Middle/High School (7-12). The District has a total student population of approximately 621 students. The District has a safe, clean, and well-maintained physical environment.

The District places a strong emphasis on student opportunities and experiences. The District has high achieving athletic teams, and award winning programs in Band and Chorus.

The Rudyard Area School District Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent candidate who is strong, organized, yet personable. The successful candidate shall be someone who will lead the Rudyard Area School District into maintaining fiscal longevity while continuing to promote excellence in education. The right candidate will also be very community oriented in regards to promoting and representing the District.

Salary and Contract Information:

The Board of Education will offer a comprehensive contract. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with the skills, education, and experience of the successful candidate. A preliminary salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 has been established.
