Hello Bulldog Country!

My name is Tom McKee and I am excited to be your Superintendent. My journey started here at Rudyard Area Schools, where I graduated in 2004. After graduation, I attended Central Michigan University where I completed my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood Development, Integrated Science, and Leadership. I came back and taught PreSchool in 2010-2011 and Middle School Science in 2011-2012. At the end of the 2012 school year, I accepted a position at Moran Township School District in St. Ignace where I taught 3-8th grade subjects from 2012-2016. In 2016 I moved on to become the Superintendent/K-12 Principal of Whitefish Township Community Schools in Paradise. Throughout my professional travels, it has always been my goal to make it home. When I am not in school, I enjoy talking to people, golfing, officiating high school sports, and spending time family. My wife and I are both Bulldogs and our two children are Bulldogs.

I look forward to working with you all as we develop a plan for every student of ours to be successful.

If you ever need anything, reach out to me at (906) 630-0814.

I look forward to working with you all throughout the years to come. Rudyard Area Schools will be a school for Every Student. Every Day. And we will do Whatever it Takes.

Thank you,

Tom McKee
