Meet Sharon Portice our wellness center nurse. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Lake Superior State University. She is a RN with 35 years of experience in various settings including: Sault Tribe, RJ Wallace Elementary School, and War Memorial. She loves children and takes special pride and joy in her children and grandchildren. She provides services including: first aid, chronic disease management, nutrition education and counseling, reproductive health education and support, and tobacco/vaping support. Her favorite part of her job is making students realize they are amazing and can make a difference in themselves and in the world.
